Cook Island Maori Day

In the hall we did a pure before we broke into groups.
We got to play and swap activities. I love to do the tivaevae and the dance for the warriors chant.
But what I liked the most was when we made friends when we were celebrating the Cook Island language week.

I was playing for Corinna School in the final of Flag rugby. I played today because the team didn't have enough girls so I got to play and we won! I'm going to play flag next year when I'm a year 3. It's fun.

Principal's Award

I got a Principal's award for being a focused writer by including many ideas. I have been trying hard in my writing and I know I still can try harder.

Road Safety

I was learning with  Constable Andy how to  cross  the  road safely with a parent so I can be safe from the cars when they are going back out of  the car park.
I learned how to look up and down the road before I cross on the pedestrian crossing.
